Split GFP quantification provides direct quantification of protein expression using a split green fluorescent protein system. We use this technology for expression validation and qualitative yield estimation.

How It Works

The split GFP system divides the green fluorescent protein into two non-fluorescent fragments. When these fragments are brought together through protein expression, they reconstitute to form a functional, fluorescent GFP. The fluorescence intensity correlates with the amount of expressed protein.
