What you get
- Expression call: Expressed / low / not detected
- Relative yield: Comparable signal per variant for quick triage
- QC summary: Flags for insolubility or tag issues
How it works
We run your sequences through our standardized cell‑free expression workflow and detect expression via tag‑based readouts. Expression is confirmed and quantified with a split‑GFP reporter, and results land in your dashboard and API with clear calls and QC.When to use
- Before binding or activity campaigns to avoid running non‑expressers
- During library exploration to focus on productive designs
1
Prepare sequences
Upload sequences via the platform or API.
2
Cell‑free expression
We run standardized expression with tag detection.
3
QC & calls
You get expression calls, relative yield, and QC flags.

FAQs
Is there a size limit?
Is there a size limit?
We support roughly 50 to 700 amino acids, covering antibody-derived formats, engineered scaffolds, and de novo proteins. Longer constructs cost more to synthesize; very short peptides are usually limited by yield rather than folding. See Supported Protein Formats.
What happens if a result is unclear?
What happens if a result is unclear?
Our QA flags anomalies continuously during data generation, and we re-run a sample when a call is not clear-cut rather than reporting an ambiguous result.
Can you scale up and send me protein?
Can you scale up and send me protein?
Yes. Our default runs express only enough material for the assay. When you want protein in hand, see Expression Scale-Up.
